Wandering Inn book 3

I started (audio)book 3 of the Wandering Inn series today. This is a re-listen, not even my first one. But I cannot bear the thought that I have run out of Inn-books, so I am saving up some books to listen to right now.

I started my re-listen by listening chapter by chapter in parallel to book 1 in the old and the re-written version. That was very interesing and fun. And then i just continued on because the story had me in its clutches again right away. I cannot resist it.

I am repeatedly surprised how early some of the storylines happen or start! Like Rags in Esthelm during the attack. That happens at the end of book 2! And we also meet the goblins in book 2 who are sent out to kill Erin and will eventually turn into some of the most iconic characters of the series. Book 2!

Right now I am getting acquainted with Lakin again. And I must say that I still don't love him or Doreen. But they are still great characters, I wouldn't have them any other way!
